I am currently a chiropractic student, who was suffering from low back pain after being in a car accident approximately 13 years ago. I tried massage therapy, chiropractic care, and reiki. While they all helped me to a certain degree, none of those remedies corrected my problem completely. After my car accident I had trouble sitting & standing for more then 10-15 minutes before I would have pretty severe low back pain and would need to lay down. Eventually through chiropractic care (aggressive management of 2-3 times per week) and massage therapy I was able to sit and stand for a longer duration of about 30-45 minutes without much discomfort. If I were to walk or stand for approximately 30 minutes I would start getting numbness down the side of my left leg. Also as a chiropractic student and student clinician I may be sitting in class or working with patients in a combined setting for approximately 4-8 hours each day. Once my day was done, so was my back. I would be so worn out and out of energy that I would go home and lay down for a couple hours because I was so exhausted. In turn that stopped me from doing other things like shopping, cooking, studying, or having time for my dog and myself.
This quarter I decided to take Applied Kinesiology (AK) as an elective in my school to further my education, and learn a new technique/protocol that I could add to my bag of knowledge to further help my future patients once I graduate. I wanted to see what AK could offer to me and my future patients. So I decided I wanted to see if Dr. Amodio and AK would be able to help me in anyway, since NOTHING else in my past has completely helped resolve my issue of low back pain. Well I was lucky enough to have Dr. Amodio use me as an in class patient, while he was demonstrating part of the AK protocol. Approximately 20 minutes or so after he started his exam and corrective measures on me he was done. I felt a bit sore in my low back and glutial region for approximately 2-3 days, but it felt as if you just had gotten a massage. While Dr. Amodio only did a portion of his AK protocol on me it was all I needed. That weekend I had business classes for about 4-5 hours on Friday and Saturday. My pain was gone, and it was hard to believe after all this time that something could finally help me get out of my daily pain. I was able to sit for 90 minutes & longer without any of the old pains or squirming in my chair that I would have done. When I got home the first thing on my mind was not where is my bed because I needed to lay down to get my energy restored, but wow I cannot believe this worked and I am feeling better. So I waited for hours, then days for it to go back to the way it always would. It has been approximately a month with no relapses.
I would highly recommend this to anyone I know, and trust me I will. I will also officially see Dr. Amodio in his office so I can have him go through the entire AK protocol. I cannot wait to see the changes once I am able to complete the program with Dr. Amodio. I will also be learning/studying AK protocol so that I may be able to help someone in need, as I was for about 13 years. While in chiropractic school, I got very ill for several months at a time. I would experience an intense sharp, burning type of pain throughout my body. Needless to say, my body was extremely inflamed and I really wasn't getting any answers from the doctors that I had been to, even with all the treatments, blood work and other tests they ran.
I began seeing Dr Carl Amodio for this issue and he discovered that among a host of other things, I had a very high level of solanines in my body that I was unable to clear effectively on my own. If I remember correctly, Carl said that I was one of the worst, if not the worst case he'd seen regarding solanine toxicity.
