Meet Dr. Carl

Dr. Amodio founded Whole Body Health, Inc. in 2004. He graduated in 2001 cum laude from Life University www.life.edu in Marietta, GA. In addition to his Chiropractic courses of study, he also attended seminars on the weekends to learn more about Applied Kinesiology (AK). Before graduating, he completed the 100-hr. certification course, instructed by some of the top doctors in the world. After graduation, Dr. Amodio continued to expand his studies in AK and in 2007 attained proficiency certification with Quintessential Applications www.quintessentialapplications.com

Quintessential Applications (QA) is "a physiologically based, basic science driven, neurological hierarchy, for the ordered application of clinical procedures and techniques." It is recognized around the world and currently Dr. Amodio is one of about (12) QA proficeint doctors in the United States.

He is also on faculty as an adjunct professor at Life University and, along with Dr. Walter Schmitt, DC, DIBAK, DABCN; was instrumental in formulating the elective course: Introduction to Applied Kinesiology. He is currently the lead instructor for this course which includes a lecture and (2) hands-on labs, where he can personally help future chiropractors acquire the knowledge of some basic AK techniques that they can begin to use immediately as interns and then in their practices. The course is only available to upper-quarter students who are preparing to graduate and begin practice as Doctors of Chiropractic. Dr. Amodio also began a student study group on campus so students could continue their studies outside of class.

Carl T. Amodio, BA, DC
"I was introduced to the world of Chiropractic care when I was just ten years old. At the time, I was diagnosed with scoliosis (curvature of the spine) by the school nurse and my mother decided to take the advice of a co-worker and have me evaluated by a Chiropractor. Three years after my initial diagnosis, and with regular chiropractic care, my spine completely straightened! Even at the age of ten, I was so impressed and amazed, that I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor!"
